Before becoming a Painter Bros owner, Blake spent 20 years serving in the United States Coast Guard, where his career centered on federal law enforcement and international affairs. Throughout his military service, a commitment to teamwork, integrity, and serving others guided his work. When Blake first began exploring the opportunity with PainterBros, those same principles immediately stood out to him within the organization. What ultimately drew him in was not only the company’s vision, but also the people behind it. From the very beginning, Blake recognized that Painter Bros was building something meaningful. The strong culture, collaborative spirit, and shared commitment to growth made the decision feel like the right path forward. Since joining the organization, Blake has already achieved significant milestones.
One of his proudest moments came in 2025 when he was named Rookie of the Year, an honor that served as powerful confirmation that their decision to join the Painter Bros family was the right one. While the recognition meant a great deal, Blake views it less as an individual achievement and more as a reflection of the hard work, perseverance, and support that come with being part of a strong organization and community. Today, what Blake enjoys most about being part of Painter Bros is seeing the tangible impact his team has on the communities they serve. Whether it is churches, gyms, homes, or local restaurants, driving through town and seeing the spaces his team has helped improve brings a deep sense of pride and gratitude. For Blake, the work goes far beyond paint—it is about people, community, and the opportunity to make a lasting difference.
