    Painter Bros offers three main differentiators that set us apart from any other painting or home services company. We have pre-developed markets, so you are walking into a market that already has a Painter Bros presence. We have Strategic Alliance Partnerships, meaning you have access to our national commercial jobs if you so choose to accept those jobs. And we have proprietary technology that takes care of the customer from start to finish with communication, payments, accounting, and reporting built in.
  • Is Painter Bros recession-resistant?
    Yes. As the market fluctuates, the demand for our services will never go away. At times, residential may be in high demand, and vice versa with commercial. People will always have a need for general contracting work regardless of what the market does.
  • How long does it take to open a franchise with Painter Bros?
    From the first conversation to the date of signing, it's about 4 – 6 weeks. From signing to opening, we look at another 4 – 6 weeks of setup, training, and launch.
  • How much does it cost to open a Painter Bros franchise?
    $55,00 for the franchise fee. Depending on what type of location, owner-operated, semi-absentee, and absentee, anywhere from $75,000 - $250,000.
  • Is there an opportunity for multi-unit purchase and development?
    Yes! We have many territories available across the US.

  • What type of training is provided?
    Once a candidate has signed the franchise agreement, we get them scheduled for a 3–5-day training in Utah, where they will learn everything from sales, insurance, accounting, software and create a business plan. From there, you will be in contact with our franchise support team over the next several weeks as you get your business set up and continue online remote training. Once ready, we will come to you for an opening! We will continue training and checking in for months 3, 6, and 9.

    We do offer assistance in picking the best territory(s) in your area based on strategic data analysis.
