Franchisee Of The Month: George Bock

At Painter Bros, we’re proud to recognize franchisees who continue to raise the bar through consistency, determination, and a commitment to growth. This month, we’re excited to highlight George and the Painter Bros of Nashville team for their outstanding momentum and continued success in their market.

BIGGEST WIN IN April

April marked a major milestone for George and his team as they achieved their largest sales month to date, with May already projected to surpass it. Their momentum was driven by multiple lead generation channels, strategic networking efforts, and a growing commercial presence within the community. One standout project included the rehab of a historic 1930s home being transformed into a supper club and wine bar, helping strengthen their local visibility and word-of-mouth reputation.

Another major accomplishment was signing a Master Service Agreement with Vanderbilt University, leading to three dormitory repaint projects scheduled during summer break. This opportunity not only represents a significant commercial win, but also creates strong potential for long-term repeat business with a premier client.

George credits much of the team’s recent success to staying focused through the slower winter season and entering the busy spring months prepared to capitalize on new opportunities. Consistent networking through organizations like IFMA, IREM, and BNI helped position the team for larger bidding opportunities, valuable referrals, and high-quality sales appointments.

At the same time, continued investment in developing their technician team has resulted in strong project execution, repeat residential business, and direct customer referrals. Since launching in April 2025, the team has already earned 37 five-star Google reviews, a reflection of their commitment to quality work, customer experience, and building a strong reputation in their market.

ADVICE TO FRANCHISE OWNERS

George’s advice to other Painter Bros franchisees is centered around patience, discipline, and trusting the system. He emphasizes the importance of growing sustainably and maintaining quality over trying to scale too quickly. According to George, success takes time and consistency. While the team experienced growing pains early on, staying committed to the process helped them build momentum month after month. Now, nearly a year after launch, they’re beginning to see those efforts pay off. For newer franchisees, George encourages patience and persistence, trusting that opportunities and sales will come through consistent effort and quality service.

As Painter Bros continues to grow, stories like George’s serve as a reminder of what’s possible through consistency, strategic growth, and commitment to quality. His team’s success is not only a reflection of their hard work, but also an inspiration to other franchisees building momentum within their own markets.
